Yilan International Children’s Folklore & Folkgame Festival,  has been recognized as CIOFF International Festival recently and has been one of the most successful children events ever taking place! 2010 festival could be regarded a successful example with 18 participating groups from 16 countries around the world and 586,812 visitors. The celebation of 2011 Yilan International Children’s Folklore & Folkgame Festival is decided to take place between 9 July and 21 August 2011.  Basic conditions of the festival are: – The festival organization will offer local transportation, food and accomodation for the participating groups after their arrival at Taiwan. – The festival organization will be responsible for the performance, cultural exchange and visit program arrangement. – The festival organization will offer allowance of US$15 per performing day per performer during their staying in the festival from 9 July to 21 August. – The participating group should be composed of max. 30 persons, the children dancers aging between 8 and 14 years old (preferable), musicians and administrave staff included. – The participating group should be responsible for its round- trip airfare between its country and Taiwan, visa fee to Taiwan and cost of excess luggage. – The participating group should stay in the festival for min. 15 days and max. 30 days, the arrival and departure day excluded. – The participating group should prepare program of 60, 40, 30, 10 and 5 min. program with live music and traditional clothes. – The participating group should attend in all activities from the performance to the cultural programs such as visit, seminar…etc. arranged by the festival organization without any option.
