The Muscat International Folklore Festival or “MIFF” is a celebration of cultural diversity which is the best shown through the traditional dance and music.  It is a stage from there Omani culture and traditions are promoted together with other participating countries. Every year different countries will come to perform not repeating the previous year festival line up.The main purpose of the festival is to provide a field for folk dance groups and musicians from different countries to show the uniqueness of their folklore, to preserve and promote  cultural heritage and to further promote Muscat, where people from different nations will have the chance to build new friendships.
